IC PERMISSIONS

Physical Violence: I'm comfortable with writing violence of any level. Shikamaru is effectively a soldier and sometimes people get hurt! Just let me know when we're moving up from light fighting to actually trying to murder each other.

Mental Information: Shikamaru's natural mental state is calm mixed with some mild irritation and a whole lot of Anxiety About Responsibility buried underneath the surface, with an extra helping of Oh God All My Friends Are In Tubes here in El Nysa. Any empath could pick up on the former and a telepath on the latter and both are free to go for it, though expect Shikamaru to work on some kind of mental countermeasure if he feels his mind is getting read, ie. get ready to look at a mental shogi board when you go probing.

Physical Affection: OOC I'm fine with anything! IC expect any affection to be received with confusion and snark. He's not a very touchy-feely kind of guy.

IC Triggers: Nothing really at this point in time, except for maybe insulting his friends or telling him he's a bad leader that's going to get people killed (because he's already worried about that.)

Relationships: Once you get past the apathetic attitude, Shikamaru's a friendly guy and will welcome as many buddies and comrades as he can tolerate. Romance is so completely far out of his wheelhouse right now he'd have no idea what to do about it, but if it develops naturally during play I'd totally be up for it!

Are you interested in participating in the game's smut opt-ins? I'm totally interested but Shikamaru wouldn't be, so if he could be convinced then yes!

POWER-SPECIFIC AND/OR SPOILER PERMISSIONS

Shikamaru's main special technique is Kagemane no Jutsu, the Art of Shadow Imitation which enables him to force anyone whose shadow comes into contact with his while the ability is active to mimic his movements. He'll pretty much never use this on a PC outside of a combat situation but if you want to fully opt out of ever getting caught in this ability OR we're about to fight and you want to discuss the uses of that power feel free to comment here or contact me on plurk/Discord/private messages!
